GIFT SHOP*Main Hospital Lobby (Wednesday afternoons) |
Handles customer sales using computer-style cash register; assists customers with selections; stocks merchandise. Funds generated from Gift Shop go directly to support community programs. Good opportunity for someone who loves working with people. |
INFORMATION DESK(Monday or Tuesday evenings) |
Great opportunity to help a variety of customers! Answers phones, uses computer to locate inpatients, assists visitors/callers with questions, and gives directions or escorts customers to various offices/services in the hospital. |
INFO DESK/GIFT SHOP*Women’s Pavilion (Mon, Wed or Fri mornings*; Mon or Fri afternoons*) |
Handles customer sales using computer-style cash register; stocks merchandise. Also covers Information Desk—answers phones, locates patients, provides directions, etc. Good opportunity for “people person” with basic computer skills. |
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT(Wed or Thu mornings) |
Be part of the ICU team through answering phones, directing patients’ families, assisting with paperwork duties such as assembling charts, copying, bulletin board, etc., running non-technical errands for department. Must be 18 or older. |
OB/GYN UNIT(10 am – 2 pm shift on Mondays or Saturdays) |
Works with OB/GYN staff to maintain unit function, including assisting with non-clinical patient needs, answering phones, obtaining and stocking supplies, assembling packets of information, etc. May also help transport discharged patients. |
