Our breast care services are provided in a pleasant, private setting with a staff of nurses, technologists and counselors committed to providing you with professional, thorough and compassionate care.
Breast Care And Health
The St. Mark's American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited program offers the following breast care services:
- Physical breast exams from a certified breast care nurse
- State-of-the-art digital mammography services
- Thorough instructions and guidelines for performing breast self-exam
- Information about risk factors, symptoms and early detection
- Counseling for high-risk patients
- Breast cancer support groups
- Physician referrals
- Evening and Saturday appointments
Prepare For Your Mammogram
- Allow 45 minutes for your visit
- If you have insurance, bring your card with you. You may also pay with cash, check or credit card
- Wear a two-piece outfit
- Do not apply deodorant, powder or lotion on or around the breast or underarm
Breast Care Center Hours
- Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Two Saturdays per month, 8 a.m. to noon
- Located on the 1st floor of the St. Mark’s Hospital Women's Pavilion. Enter through the main entrance of the Pavilion or through the elevator in the Pavilion parking garage.
